The decision is about operating fit—not a universal winner
Both ScaleTrade and Match-Trader support branded client access and API-led integration, but their infrastructure models should not be treated as equivalent. ScaleTrade offers a self-hosted model in which the broker operates and controls the platform stack. Match-Trader offers White Label and Server Licence models; placing its system on infrastructure supplied or designated by the broker does not by itself make the deployment self-hosted, because platform operation and control remain with the vendor. Match-Trader should remain on a shortlist when its PWA experience, Client Office/CRM and ecosystem align with the target model.

Server location is not the same as self-hosting
ScaleTrade’s self-hosted model gives the broker operational control of the deployed platform stack, including its infrastructure, database, logs and configuration. ScaleTrade also offers a separate managed White Label SaaS model.
Match-Trader’s Server Licence can use infrastructure supplied or designated by the broker, and its public page describes broker control of the client database. However, the platform remains vendor-operated. The broker does not receive the same operational control over the complete stack, so this model should not be categorized as full self-hosting.
This distinction affects change management, privileged access, observability, release timing and incident response. Procurement teams should record those control boundaries explicitly in the architecture and contract rather than infer them from the physical server location.
Compare workflows and API coverage against your real stack
Both ecosystems publish broker-management and integration capabilities. The differentiator must be tested at endpoint, permission and workflow level.
Terminals and branding
Match-Trader emphasizes an omnichannel PWA with synchronized settings and branded distribution. ScaleTrade documents web, desktop and mobile terminals across its deployment family. Validate app-store ownership, release process, domain control and which channels are included.
Back office and CRM
Match-Trader combines Admin/Manager applications with Client Office and Forex CRM. ScaleTrade exposes back-office modules and an integrated CRM workflow. Demonstrations should follow the same onboarding, dealing, risk, reporting and support scenarios.
APIs and custom logic
Match-Trade’s current documentation directs new integrations to Broker API with REST and gRPC. ScaleTrade documents client REST endpoints, a broad TCP management API, FIX modules and native plugins. Compare authentication, events, rate limits, sandbox access and versioning.
A platform comparison is incomplete without a cutover plan
Moving from Match-Trader to ScaleTrade—or in the other direction—requires a field-level assessment. Accounts, identities, balances, open positions, pending orders, history, symbols, groups and integrations may use different models. Public product pages do not prove one-click portability.
A responsible plan includes data mapping, reconciliation rules, a test import, integration certification, parallel validation, a defined cutover window and rollback criteria. Use the Broker Platform Migration Guide to structure the assessment.

Questions brokers ask before choosing
Is Match-Trader Server Licence a self-hosted platform?
Not in the full operational sense used on this page. The environment may run on infrastructure supplied or designated by the broker, and Match-Trade states that the broker controls its client database. The platform itself remains vendor-operated, so server location should not be presented as equivalent to broker control of the complete stack.
Does Match-Trader have web, mobile and desktop access?
Yes. Match-Trade’s official White Label and Server Licence pages describe PWA-based access across web, mobile and desktop with synchronized settings. Branded app-store distribution is also described as available on request.
Does Match-Trader include CRM and broker APIs?
Match-Trade documents Client Office with Forex CRM, Manager API and a newer Broker API supporting REST and gRPC. The precise package and access rights should be confirmed in the vendor proposal.
Can a broker migrate from Match-Trader to ScaleTrade?
A migration can be assessed, but feasibility and scope depend on export access, data models, open positions and connected systems. ScaleTrade does not claim an automatic or universal one-click migration.
Which platform costs less?
This page does not compare price. Public information does not provide a like-for-like basis across editions, hosting, support, integrations and volume. Request proposals against one shared requirements document.
How should a broker run a fair proof of concept?
Use identical account structures, symbols, risk rules, liquidity workflows and integration tests. Score operational tasks, permissions, auditability, API behavior, recovery procedures and trader journeys before considering commercial terms.
Official sources reviewed
Competitor facts were last checked on August 16, 2026. The infrastructure-control distinction reflects ScaleTrade’s product review of the current Match-Trader operating model. A Match-Trade comparison article from November 2022 calls Server Licence both SaaS and a solution with “sole control,” but does not define broker access to or operation of the complete platform stack. Because the current public Server Licence page also does not fully document that boundary, confirm it in Match-Trade’s current architecture statement and contract before publication or procurement. Historical prices and account limits from the 2022 article were not used.
